Skeletal Clocks
A clock with numbers and hands only, mounted on a wall. No self-contained illumination. A background dial is optional. The clock movement is behind the wall and is built to hold appropriately sized hands. As the clock hands are exposed, they are made to withstand extreme weather conditions and are fastened to the shafts with set screws. Once fastened, time adjustments are only possible by activating the movement motors. All of our clocks are built-to-order, as each application is different. Click here to request a quotation. A few considerations:
- Size depends on viewing distance and height of clock.
- Only non-illuminated dials w/exposed hands.
- As movements are installed behind the wall, accessibility required.
- Wall thickness must be known in order to build the movement.
- Movement (time) control, power
- Manual, hard-wired, remote switch (run, fast, stop)
- GPS/Signal/LAN controlled, fully automatic, including daylight saving and power interruptions.
